Alfalfa mosaic virus (AMV) leaf symptoms typically include a bright yellow mosaic or white discoloration. The virus is transmitted by aphids and can survive in a number of plant species.

Management:
- Promptly remove and destroy diseased plant material
- Use reflective mulches
- Insecticide sprays are not reliable
- Do not plant peppers within or next to alfalfa plantings
