Powdery Mildew of Tomato
Return to Diseases
Powdery mildew (Leveillula taurica; Golovinomyces spp.) results in a white, powdery fungal growth on upper and lower leaf surfaces. Over time, tissues become necrotic, resulting in death of affected leaves. Stems may be infected in severe outbreaks. This disease primarily occurs in greenhouses and high tunnels.
