Pepper Maggot on Solanaceous Crops

Pepper maggot (Zonosemata electa). Pepper maggot larva (yellow) and pupa (black) are shown. They are about 1⁄2 inch long and will feed on actively growing peppers. Good sanitation and rotation are important.
