Vegetable leafminer (Liriomyza sativae). Found on many vegetables, including tomato and pepper, vegetable leafminer larvae will make serpentine “mines” in leaves. Adults are 1⁄16 inch long black and yellow flies. Many natural enemies can control this pest. It is generally not an economic pest in Kentucky.
